What is your name, age and general location?
Hi, I'm Tim i'm 33 and I live in Philadelphia
What is your email address?
sublime8414certain@gmail.com
Which is your favourite real life team? The Mets.... How did you end up following them?
My dad was a mets fan so it wasn't really a choice, and now I'm a fan for life.
How did you find this league?
I play in another league with TJ. Hoping to pick up the dodgers if possible.
Please give a brief overview of your fantasy baseball experience. How many other leagues are you currently a member of, and what format are they (ie H2H, roto, redraft, keeper, auction etc)?
I haven't played in a roto league for years. I've been a 28 team league for the better part of 10 years. I just joined a second 28 team league this year. Then my non contract leagues are a 16 team aucton with 3 keepers (max of 2 years), a 12 team re-draft, and a 16 team keep until age 30 league.
How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league?
I check the other message board leagues I'm in multiple times a day. The next 2-4 weeks might be tough due to some work stuff. But Outside of that I'd expect at least a daily check-in. I suppose during a rebuild it would likely less regular check-ins.
This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league?
I would very much prefer a contender, however. I've definitely been through 2 rebuilds in other leagues, and currently hoping to come out of a third rebuild in the keep until 30 league. So not preferred, but can do.
Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility?
Definitely know the prospects well, so the only thing that should be a learning curve is the way you retain guys after their rookie contract and therefore the free agency prices, and what contracts are worth as result.
My background is finance and economics so that is usually the lens i'm using when viewing players.
The Yankees thmmter.conforums3.com/index.cgi
The Red Sox themajorsleague.freeforums.net/
The other leagues aren't managed on boards, so i am not sure the best way to provide links.
Happy to answer any other questions.
