What is your name, age and general location?
James Edwards, 29, Stamford, CT
What is your email address?

Which is your favourite real life team? How did you end up following them?
My favorite team is the Atlanta Braves. I grew up in the 90's so having Chipper, Maddux, Smoltz, and Andruw on made it easy to fall in love with that team. Then as I grew older and got more invested in prospects getting to follow Jason Heyward and Freddie Freeman as they made their way into the bigs only further increased my love for the team and baseball in general.
How did you find this league?
I play in a couple leagues with TJ and he has strongly recommended this league to me (and a few others). After doing some digging in the league this seems like a really fun format for a league and I'd love to be a part of it.
Please give a brief overview of your fantasy baseball experience. How many other leagues are you currently a member of, and what format are they (ie H2H, roto, redraft, keeper, auction etc)?
How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league?
I've only recently joined keeper leagues of this nature with a salary cap and full roster control, but I have been taking part in fantasy baseball for well over 10 years now. Since I've come to learn about this style of league, it has become my sole focus as I find it much more engaging than standard redraft or keeper leagues.
This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league?
Absolutely. I am currently pushing all in towards contention in one league and I'm scraping the bottom of the barrel in my other as I take part in my rebuild. Baseball is cyclical and there will naturally be periods of contention and times to step back and rebuild for the next time when you can truly push towards a championship. Both periods are equally as fun and require equal investment and energy in order to ensure your team meets its full potential.
Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility?
In discussing this league, TJ has mentioned that it is incredibly active on the trade market and that is one of my favorite aspects of these league styles. In my other two leagues I am one of the most active traders and I would look forward to plenty of lively discussions here if my application is accepted.
Please post links to any other leagues you participate in.
