Early division leaders: - Orioles - Twins / Guardians - Rangers - Braves - Cardinals - Padres
Notes: - Two teams achieved 10-0 wins this week. Congrats to the Red Sox who defeated the previously AL East-leading Yankees, and the Reds who downed the Cubs. - Of the 11 SB records in the record book, 7 hail from after the rule changes which came into effect at the start of 2023. - Cardinals again handily led the field in IP and K. After just falling short of joining the matchup recordbooks last week, they joined the all-time top 5 in strikeouts this week. The seasonal strikeout record is 1,499 (held by the 2018 Pirates), and this very much looks in jeopardy if St. Louis is going to put up triple-figures every week. - Congrats to the Rays for a very impressive week of pitching. Over 27.1 IP, they posted a miserly 0.66 ERA and 0.768 WHIP. - All teams met the AB and IP minimums for scoring.
Records achieved this week: - Stolen bases: Nationals (12) joined what is now a 7-way tie for 5th
- Strikeouts: Cardinals (105) joined what is now a 3-way tie for 3rd

Dang, a scoring change (all the way back from 4/17) knocked the TEX/SEA score from 7-3-0 to 6-4-0.
