Short questions:
1. What is your age? 20 2. What is your general location? Grand Rapids, MI 3. What is your favorite MLB team? Detroit Tigers but I would like the LA Dodgers 4. How did you find this league? Rotoworld 5. What is your e-mail address? bbuurstra6@yahoo.com
Medium Questions:
1. What experience do you have playing fantasy baseball? about 5 years 2. How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league? basically anytime at all 3. What kind of team would you be willing to take? (One that can compete immediately, soon, or a long term project?) any team i am very into prospects
Longer questions:
1. This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be ok with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league? I am very happy with trying to rebuild and make deals for the future if my team struggles 2. Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility? no

Welcome to the league. The Dodgers are yours. This is now the second time the Tigers have been passed over. Interesting.
Feel free to create a roster page, use the username "Dodgers GM (name)", or anything else that's relevant. If you have any questions, please let me know. Thanks.

I blame Dave Dombrowski...
*actually that's not exactly true... He was under marching orders from Mr I, and I can say I was 100% behind the moves to trade prospects for immediate help... Whether by design, or luck, with all the deals they made and all the specs they moved over the years, they never really got truly burned by any of those guys developing into much of anything... It's really unfortunate that they were never able to reach the ultimate goal and win a title for Mr I and the city... He is an incredible owner who never put the $ ahead of his desire to win... Dipped into his own pockets, if that's what it took to get the guy he wanted Ie the Miggy trade, Fielder, Vmart and crazy extensions for Miggy & JV... It was a great run for 9 years and even tho they are saying the right things now... Most likely the model is going to have to change and there will be a period of pretty rough ball while they work to restructure the pay roll under the eventual new owner...
Side note, I think DD is going to have allot of success in Boston and get them back to the top really quick.

The Tigers did get a lot more appealing in here with Daniel Norris at least.
I'm mostly impressed with the ratio of Tigers fans so far. 2 out of 11 applicants. I had previously thought that the Tigers and Phillies would be the toughest teams to sell. Thankfully, they both added some nice pieces at the trade deadline. The Phillies are now quite intriguing and the Tigers aren't bad off either.
Having said that, if given the choice, I'd pick the Dodgers too.
