The nomination and subsequent listing was intended as a joke (and likely also as a small statement about the silliness of bidding on retired players). If someone seriously wants to bid on Ruth, and the league hasn't outlawed it by then, please wait until the final round to do so. The best motivation I can think of for throwing away money like that would be to nominate a friend, just to tell him he's on my fantasy baseball team.... |
