What is your name, age and general location?
Bill, 33, Pittsburgh, PA
What is your email address?
bgoodwin7718@yahoo.com
Which is your favourite real life team? How did you end up following them?
Pirates, for obvious reasons of being a Western PA native
How did you find this league?
Roto forum - I have seen this league advertising for vacant teams a couple of times and finally decided to make a leap
Please give a brief overview of your fantasy baseball experience. How many other leagues are you currently a member of, and what format are they (ie H2H, roto, redraft, keeper, auction etc)?
I've been playing fantasy baseball for roughly around 12 years. I was in a 20 team dynasty startup for over two years and built a very successful team from scratch (29-3-3 regular season record). I am also in a couple of deep ESPN keeper leagues. All but one of the leagues I am in are H2H, the other is roto which I am new to and took my lumps inheriting a complete rebuild.
How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league?
Numerous times daily, always periodically checking my phone and browsing the web during downtime
This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league? Lets face it, whomever takes on this Padres team is facing a rebuild of epic proportions and they missed the majority of the free agency period to get a jump on that process. I wouldn't apply if I wasn't interested and willing to take on a major rebuild effort.
