So... who had Diamondbacks and Rangers on their pre-season card?

Maybe not preseason, but I bet they were both pretty popular dark horse picks at the All-star break.

Diamondbacks pulling what has to be up there on the list of all-time Milton Berle'ing it to the WS. Bizarre state of the NL when an 84 win team, that had a -15 run differential (!!!), makes it to the WS. I have no doubt their ownership will continue playing playoff Jenga and do less with their roster for next year.

Hopefully my D-Backs can carry this momentum

That first game was exciting fundamental baseball. #1 and #2 in fewest errors on the year, relatively old as an average but with young cores who are easy to root for, both these teams are gonna be fun to watch. I got Rangers in 6–first WS title incoming.

Congrats! (And from your perspective, glad the Dbacks didn't score a bunch bottom of the ninth--imagine staying up that late and losing??)

I stayed up for game 2 which was a late night for an L. As much as anything, I'm glad that this win means I don't have to go through it all again on Friday (and potentially Saturday). Late nights are becoming much harder these days...

Always been a night owl. I fell asleep right after Seager tied it up bottom 9th in game 1, and I’m on the East Coast. That should have been thrilling enough to keep me awake for extras. Anything after 11pm ET these days however is likely learned when I wake up.

Games 1 and 2 started at 1am, with the rest starting at midnight (our daylight savings are a week before yours). I missed g1 because I was a bit under the weather, and had to take the morning off work today so that I could stay up for g5.
It's tough being a fan of a sport which is played in a later time zone. Even moreso the older I get.
Although I must say - all hail the pitch clock. That thing is one of the best changes I've seen in any sport in a while.
