Notes:
- No teams achieved a 10-0 win this week. Unusually, no team even achieved a 9-category win week.
- Breaking a four week streak, the Orioles and Rays did not swap between the ALE lead and the AL WC1 spot. The O's have moved from a tie-break advantage into a 1.5 game lead.
- The Jays and Guardians flipped places, with the Jays moving into AL WC3 and the Guardians now leading the chase from outside the postseason picture. Only half a game separates these two.
- The Pirates have tumbled from the NL WC2 position, and if the postseason started today would not make the playoffs. After joining the NL WC fray last week, the Giants have now hopped into the NL WC2 spot, and the Cardinals into the NL WC3 slot.
- In a result that may give hope to the rest of the league, did the Brewers show the first chink in their armour as they fell 3-6-1 to the Marlins? Perhaps not, as they remain on track to set a new record for season-long rotisserie points.
- Rule changes coming into effect for 2023 have certainly made their mark on our record books, with the third 'Most stolen bases' record entry of the season being submitted this week. Five teams are on pace for season SB totals which would be good enough to join the current top 5 leaderboard in league history.
- Congratulations to the Giants for joining the matchup record leaderboard for most wins. With Wins a bit of a dying species in the modern game, it is admirable that Giants were able to join a leaderboard which has only been added to once since the 2018 season.
- All teams met the AB and IP minimums for scoring.
