Week 7 notes and records.
Division leaders: - Orioles - Royals - Rangers - Marlins - Brewers - Rockies
Wild Card leaders: - Rays - Angels - Jays - Braves - Pirates - Cardinals
Notes: - Brewers’ .793 winning percentage would be a new first place league record if it holds up all season. (Current best winning percentage belongs to the 2019 Pirates at .775) - No division leads changed this week. - AL Wildcard reshuffling: The Rays now hold the top AL Wildcard. (Congrats to the Rays for a 10-0 win this week!) - Yankees may have turned their season around with a 9-0-1 record this week. - Cardinals, Cubs, and Giants all hold identical .500 records. (At present, only one would qualify for a wildcard.) - Tiebreaker 1: Cardinals and Cubs both hold 1 additional win over the Giants. - Tiebreaker 2: Cardinals and Cubs split their first matchup. - Tiebreaker 3: Cardinals hold the edge in divisional play with a 16-20-4 record over the Cubs at 13-23-4.
Records: - None this week.
