1. What is your name?
James B.
2. What is your age?
31
3. What is your general location?
DC/Baltimore- I get to a lot of Bowie Baysox games (AA Os affiliate)
4. What is your preferred team?
Phillies (i am a Red Sox fan)
5. How did you find this league?
Buddy in another league mentioned I may be interested (i think I have made 3-4 trades with him this offseason alone, so we are both super active)
6. What is your e-mail address?
roafw@yahoo.com (old old emai that i now mainly use for fantasy sports and spam)
7. What experience do you have playing fantasy baseball?
I was terrible, and never got out of little league
8. Have you had a chance to review the rules?
i read the FAQ and some of the message boards, but am not as deep into it, I will get on it once I have some skin in the game.
9. How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league?
I will check every day during the season, but in the offseason I am more of a once a week check in (i am also big into hockey so that takes over the every day aspect). If that is not enough in the off season, let me know, but in other leagues i am in, that puts me as about the most active (it kicks up if there is an actual nibble on the trade front)
10. What kind of team would you be willing to take? (One that can compete immediately, soon, or a long term project?)
- I am happy either way, Phillies irl stink, but have a good farm system.
11. This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league?
Depends. I normally give rebuilds about 4 years. If i have not gotten a contender by then, then someone else would be better in the position than me.
12. Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility?
I am in 3-4 other pretty competative 12-14 team fantasy leagues. I am normaly competative in all of them. This would more or less be the last team on my list (unless i sign up for something even deeper)
13. Please post links to any other leagues you participate in.
bayofpuigs.proboards.com/
bumpinugglas.proboards.com/ (took over late last season, so aside from some minor league moves and some bench moves, i have not put a stamp on that team yet)
my other 2 leagues do not have a seperate type, just pick up in the season (with keepers intact) when yahoo opens back up)
