Week 4 notes and records
Division leaders: - Orioles - Royals - Rangers - Marlins - Brewers - Rockies
Wild Card leaders: - Angels - Astros - White Sox - Braves - Pirates - Giants
Notes: - There were no division lead changes this week. - The closest division race is in the NL East, where the Marlins hold a 2.5 game lead over the Braves. - 4 teams in the AL hold a .537 winning percentage. The first tiebreaker (total wins) is all that separates the Rays from the early wild-card lead. - The currently ownerless Mets are within 0.5 wins of a wild-card spot. - Congrats to the Marlins for a 9-1 victory over the Phillies. Honorable mention goes to the Royals, Pirates, Mariners, and Brewers for scoring 8 points or better. - All teams met the AB and IP minimums. Pirates skillfully picked up 3.5 pitching points with only 11.2 IP. - Season stats show both Cubs and Reds as top 10 teams despite the slow start record-wise.
Records: - The Cardinals stole 13 bases, bringing them into a 2nd place tie with the 2016 Cardinals and the 2017 Diamondbacks. - The Pirates’ 0.00 ERA in 11.2 innings displaced the 2019 Cardinals for 5th place all-time. - Pirates’ 0.514 WHIP ranks 3rd overall.
Week 5 matchups to watch: - Reds and Marlins. (Will the Reds’ results match their underlying stats?) - Royals and Rangers. (Potential playoff matchup.)

I told my team Friday we couldn’t have the public embarrassment of not only getting shut out but also having it enshrined in Stephen’s weekly update. I pulled out all the managerial moves Sunday to limit the damage!

for some reason being a top 10 team in roto compared to a bottom 5 in real standings makes me feel worse about my team. My immediate response to the Week 5 Matchups to Watch prompt was "probably not" lol.

My immediate response to the Week 5 Matchups to Watch prompt was "probably not" lol. Hey, I was excited to finally put together a full week! I've been up before the weekend only to fall apart, I think I was up 7-3 on the Brewers at one point before it turned into a 8-1-1 drubbing fit for the (real life) A's.

I pulled out all the managerial moves Sunday to limit the damage! I looked Friday and was completely in shock. But I knew it wouldn’t last. I had my Double A pitchers throwing this weekend. Never good to post 7+ ERA’s in consecutive days.

I'm simply trying to hang in there until my injured SP's get healthy. Not trying to panic with a lot of the season left. Oh, and waiting for my position players to start hitting.
Wait, I have no pitching and hitters that can't hit....I think I'm having a panic attack!!!
