Week 2 notes and records
Early division leaders: - Orioles - Guardians - Rangers - Marlins - Brewers - Rockies
Notes: - One team achieved a 10-0 win this week. Congratulations to the Orioles for not only knocking the Red Sox off the top spot of the ALE, but for doing so with a whitewash. - In what I can only think of to describe as a statement win, the Brewers defeated the ever-competitive Reds 9-1-0 to leave them in surprise last place after two weeks. - Despite logging the 21st most ABs this week, the Nationals still came last in runs. 6 runs from 156 ABs (and 34 hits) is some going. For comparison, from their 116 ABs (and 30 hits) the A's scored 22 runs. - I'm not sure what the record would be for most innings pitched without a win or save/hold, but late on Sunday the Rangers had pitched 57.2 innings without troubling the scorers in either category. - All teams met the AB and IP minimums for scoring.
Records: (none this week)
Note: I have a new job (boo!) where I need to at least pretend to be trying (double boo!), so these might not be as prompt on Monday mornings as you're used to.

We'll see how much longer I keep the "my team is playing bad" mindset before devolving into the "my team is bad" one. brutal first few weeks

Look out, league.
