Looking to acquire young controllable talent as I work to improve the Giants. No move too small or too big. Just looking to make one good baseball move at time. With the timeline of the Giants currently and the rebuild moving up based on last seasons finish in the division, we as an organization have decided to work tirelessly to improve our offense. Looking to buy or sell in whatever makes sense as we move forward in the 2023 season.
NEEDS: Looking to acquire OFFENSE and controllable OFFENSIVE pieces of the lineup for 2023 and beyond. Always looking for prospects of interest.
Players in RED can’t be traded until the next offseason due to home town discount. Players withRED have already been traded.
POSITION PLAYERS
(CF) Akil Baddoo $1.0 3rd (DET) (LF) Really talented OF who’s looking to figure it all out and come together in 2023. Has showed signs of being a real offensive contributor and had a great 2022 in the minors. Interesting player who can contribute in a variety of categories. Considering offers not content on moving him based on his tremendous upside.
C: Zack Collins $1.0 3rd (PIT) Young controllable catcher with power in the bat (65 grade FanGraphs)and a good eye at the plate, high OBP guy. He should get a fresh start with the Pirates to become the player that everyone thought he should become. Would be looking for another position player of similar ability and status.
STARTING PITCHERS:
SP/RP: Ranger Suarez $1.8 5th (PHI) Had a great 2022 as the Phillies went to the World Series. Sporting a
3.65 ERA, 1.33 WHIP, 10 WINS. Projects as a major contributor in 2023 in the Phillies rotation. Just waying interest on Ranger, have a little SP depth and could move him for an everyday offensive player to improve the lineup. The PHILLIES believe in this guy as I do as well he got the final out to put them in the WORLD SERIES. He can easily help any team looking for SP help on a very affordable contract.
SP: Alex Wood $3.8 2023 (SFG)
SP: Graham Ashcraft $0.5 2nd (CIN)
SP: Jonathan Heasey $0.5 2nd (KC)
RELIEF PITCHERS:
RP/SP: Jalen Beeks $1.5 6th (TB) Had an outstanding 2022 season and truly displays elite stuff from a pitching arsenal. He is a very valuable piece to anyones pitching staff who plans on contending in 2023 with RP/SP eligibility. In 2022 he had 2W, 2.80ERA, ,7 SV/HLDS, 1.16WHIP, in 61IP/70K’s, and only 49 hits against. I probably value him more than others but interested in hearing offers and have already had some interest.
RP: Tyler Rogers $1.0 3rd (SFG) True elite save holds reliever for the Giants. Pitches a ton. Going to get these opportunities again. Had a down year in 2022 but still very respectable. If you are looking for a guy in that role he’s the one you are looking for. He won’t come cheap and I’m not exactly sure why he’s on here but I’m interested in hearing offers.
RP: Aaron Loup $0.3 2023 (ANA) Had a down year in 2022. Low cost addition if you are in need of SV/Holds. Had elite ratios in 2021. With a 0.95 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, 56IP 57K’s, with 17SV/Holds. I am on the fence whether to move him with this great contract and elite reliever status but will listen to offers.
RP: Reyes Moronta $1.0 6th (ARI) Healthy again and re-established himself in 2022. Should get some opportunities at the back of the bullpens for the Diamondbacks in 2023. Not looking for a lot here just a piece that works better with my current roster construction.
PROSPECTS
CF: Jarred Duran $0.5 2nd (BOS) Willing to listen on offers. There has been some interest in the past so I wanted to put him on the block to gauge interest. Interesting in talking trade on him.
*I have some interesting PROSPECTS I’m willing to talk trade with most of them. Feel free to inquire.
