Once we begin bidding in mid NOV those players available would have completed 6 years of service up to the end of this current season right? So for example from my team, the following players have 6 years of MLB experience right now in 2015 so come next season or NOV they will be available as FA: Justin Turner, Matt Latos, and Brett Anderson

Latos and Anderson both surpassed the 50 innings pitched mark in 2009. So, year 2 would have been 2010 for both, 3 - 2011, 4 - 2012, 5 - 2013, 6 - 2014. If this league had been around, both would have been free agents last off-season.
However, it appears that Justin Turner didn't surpass 150 at bats until 2011. So year 2 would have been 2012, 3 - 2013, 4 - 2014, 5 - 2015. For the current (2016) roster, he would still have one arbitration year left. His 6th year salary will equal 100% of his ESPN player rater overall value rating. For more information, see the "contracts" section.
Congrats on keeping Turner!

If I may and maybe I'm wrong here, but can I have a few days if not longer to set up my roster? I'm a little busy this weekend with a few things but I should be okay come next week. As I make changes to my roster it will be a continuing activity so my roster will never be final for a few weeks. I guess what I'm saying is I don't want anyone to pick apart my MILB players as I set up my team.

So I suppose with your mentioning that Turner didn't "surpass" the 150 AB threshold then C. Santana will be only a 6 year player in 2016 and not a 7 year player.

Sorry for the mistake. I should have said that Justin Turner didn't "reach" 150 at bats... The wording in the rules under "Contracts" is a little more clear: "- Any batter with fewer than 150 career MLB at bats will retain 1st year status - Any pitcher with fewer than 50 career MLB innings pitched will retain 1st year status" Read more: mlbbaseballleague.proboards.com/thread/7/contracts#ixzz3kgvZWPB6Carlos Santana will likely be getting a nice raise this year because of that one additional trip to the plate in 2010. Thanks for noticing my mistake. The rulebook is the official source to be believed.

Noteworthy is what MLB's official rulebook states: "A player shall be considered a rookie unless, during a previous season or seasons, he has (a) exceeded 130 at-bats or 50 innings pitched in the Major Leagues".
Most of our rules are copied from another league. I should have researched this earlier. If enough owners would like to switch the rookie eligibility rules to match MLB's definition in this regard, we could put that up for vote. (It would have a minimal impact, but I would prefer the change from 150 to 130, just to keep in line with MLB.)

The only reason why I caught the Santana AB's is because I came across it when researching his yearly status for the NOV bidding. Me personally it makes no difference what the min is for this league. I'm okay with what has been in place since the spring.

Hey guys - just wanted to clarify on this as I set up my Marlins roster. All players that have more than 6 years of MLB experience automatically go into the free agent pool, correct? So when I'm setting up my roster, I shouldn't be protecting guys like Ichiro Suzuki or Martin Prado, right?
Thanks for the help!

That's correct. Any player in 2016 with 6th years of MLB service or less is a player you may protect. So yes, M. Prado and and Ichiro will be FA's come this NOV.

You may also round any salaries to the nearest $0.1.
And any 4th - 6th year players have a minimum salary of $1.0.
