What is your name, age and general location? = Stuart McKenna, 62 (OK...I am OLD! HA!) Suffield, Connecticut
What is your email address? smjmckenna@att.net
Which is your favourite real life team? How did you end up following them? = New York Mets in the NL, Red Sox in the AL. My family took me to Red Sox games way back in the 70s. Love Fenway. Picked up the Mets about 10 years ago (although I know their history quite well) and have been going to Citi Field once a year.
How did you find this league? Rotoboards
Please give a brief overview of your fantasy baseball experience. How many other leagues are you currently a member of, and what format are they (ie H2H, roto, redraft, keeper, auction etc)? = Played Scoresheet in 2017. Finished 1 game out of the wildcard and 2 games out of first in my division with 89 wins. Played just about every format down through the years. Looking for a fun, free league that I can stick with for a long time. I played for money in the past (and won) but just want a free league with a good bunch of guys/gals that are dedicated and where the league is run well. I find there are a lot of "dead" teams in free leagues...this one looks different. I only am in one league...hopefully yours. Why? Because I like to give that one league 100% of the time I have dedicated to the fantasy baseball hobby.
How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league? = Once a day...I check e-mail every night.
This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league? 100% NO! I love leagues where owners still give 100% to the rebuilding process. Love the format!
Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility? I am a former Sports Talk show host on a small commercial radio station in the Hartford, Connecticut market back in 1978 to 1982. Again, a long time ago! It was a small station, didn't pay much, but I had a blast! Met my wife and entered the world of IT. Now in Information Technology Management soon to retire. Thanks!
Please post links to any other leagues you participate in.
