What is your name, age and general location?
AJ Andrews, 31, Virginia
What is your email address?
royalsfan5185@gmail.com
Which is your favourite real life team? How did you end up following them?
Royals. I moved around growing up, but went to my first games when we lived in the KC area.
How did you find this league?
Believe it or not: Google.
Please give a brief overview of your fantasy baseball experience. How many other leagues are you currently a member of, and what format are they (ie H2H, roto, redraft, keeper, auction etc)?
I have been in fantasy baseball for 15 years, with 30 team dynasty leagues while I was in college. I am not in any league currently, which is why I'm on the lookout for a new league.
How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league?
I am available any time, and I have connectivity pretty much every hour of every day with my job.
This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league?
I actually really enjoy a good rebuild. When my team finds success, I like to know it's been because of my effort, and I want it to be sustainable. I have deeply enjoyed 30 team leagues, especially because of getting to know personalities of other owners/GMs. Long-term competition is way more important to me than short-term win-now mode.
Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility?
I have actually worked as a bird dog amateur scout for a few teams in the past, and you will find that I am as knowledgeable as anyone in minor league players, as well as Major League rosters. I am educated (Ivy and MBA), and I'm looking forward to having a new dynasty league in which to be involved.
