What is your name, age and general location? Eric, 31. The South right now, moving to Virginia in about two months for a new job.
What is your email address? edsmith1984@hotmail.com
Which is your favourite real life team? How did you end up following them? Braves. Lifer--my grandpa took me to Atlanta-Fulton County stadium more times than I can count.
How did you find this league? Directly invited by Rangers (Adam)
Please give a brief overview of your fantasy baseball experience. How many other leagues are you currently a member of, and what format are they (ie H2H, roto, redraft, keeper, auction etc)? I'm pretty well-versed in Roto keepers. I'm in a 30-team league where I've maintained a competitive team for four years or so. I'm also in another 15-team league. I've been doing these Roto keeper leagues for a little over five years. This is my first H2H league, but I'm sure I can pick it up relatively quickly.
How often will you be available to be contacted by fellow owners in this league? Hours a day. Just about every day. Lots and lots.
This is a league with 30 teams in it, and as such it can be expected that there will be a rather large number of teams that will not contend every season. Would you be content with building for the future? Do you need to always be in competition in order to remain interested in the league?
Is there any other information you think we as a league should know in order to best determine your eligibility?
Please post links to any other leagues you participate in.
I'm pretty stoked about taking over the Bravos in this league. I'll be in it for the rebuild. Love dealing specs, love dealing MLBers for specs, love getting into some trade talks. I don't always need to be competitive, but I'll always try to field a team. It's not fun during the season if you don't have someone to pull for. This will almost definitely not affect the rebuild...I wouldn't sacrifice the future for one move up the rung.
