Awwwww, but I added the option. About 6 weeks ago in a previous thread the same issue happened. It was stated the option would beat the bid with an equal dollar amount.

The way I understand it is contract years count as nothing when bidding. It is straight dollar amount to keep it simple.

Thanks. Straight dollar amount as in yearly average or overall dollar based on the whole contract? I thought this was discussed a long time ago? I do remember someone complaining, about 5-7 weeks ago, about adding an option year which would beat a previous bid even if it was the same dollar amount?

Not to sound like I'm complaining here but my bid was posted about 23 hours before Kyler stated the obvious. What I don't understand is if I don't win A. Miller based on my posted bid then why is this an issue at the 24th hour?

What is the confusion?
The option year is irrelevant...
SFG bid of 5.2 2019 stood for the 24 hour period. He's SFG property... The 6M bid came in after the 24 hour deadline...
Correct and valid bids are responsibiliry of the bidding team.
